I fondly remember the best things growing up included summers with my grandmother with the four o’clocks in bloom, selling lemonade at the end of the driveway, making up games with my sister to entertain ourselves, and some fantastic birthday celebrations (including great cake!) In fact, I do believe that is one of my favorite things in life – good birthday cake! Then came Mary Had a Little Party – a way to recreate the nostalgia reminiscent of those same wonderful celebrations for our friends and family now!
What began as a paper goods company in 2008 has grown to be an umbrella to many facets of a great event business. The renovation of our first vintage ice cream trailer, “The Soda Shoppe”, was complete in late 2014 and is now on the road every month in the greater Houston area for both public and private events. Our vintage catering bar “Hoopla” debuted in 2016 and in May of 2018, we renovated yet another vintage trailer. We completed our newest trailer, “Clementine Coffee & Cream” in the fall of 2021 and it is out on the road serving espresso drinks, hot or iced, and all the shakes, malts and ice cream cups and cones you have come to know us for. We’ve got another surprise in the works this summer and I guess it means we are addicted to building food trucks – we love serving and are having the time of our lives!
Inspired by everything vintage and the contagious laughter of our kids, Mary Had a Little Party is your one-stop shop for amazing catering, remindful of the simplicity of days gone by – recreated for the great celebrations in your life now. Follow our event calendar as well to see our trailers out on the road for local food truck events. Please drop us a line anytime, whether a question or comment, or just to say hi!
Happy celebrating!
